Current Offerings

Private Group Asana Classes:

Often folks request that we teache their group of friends, family or colleagues as a one-time arrangement or regularly. Sometimes this is part of an event, a holiday, a special date or just because. We are happy to provide this and can create a plan that aims to meet your particular needs. 

Typically, we likes to collaborate with you to include preferences and requests to make the class just right for you and your group. Or, if you prefer, we can create an experience for you without your input.

Some common requests include: Integrating sound healing in the class, ending with yoga nidra or/and Tibetan singing bowls, ukulele/guitar at end, hands on assists, oil, scents/scent free, music, meditation, longer or shorter class time etc. The options are limitless 🙂 (almost)

We can arrange the studio space, or can travel to you (Some of our providers are allergic to cats and require a cat-free space).

Pricing: A 60-minute class base rate is $150, additional fees depend on specific arrangements (If we need to travel to you, rental fees for spaces, etc.)

Overnight Retreats

Anywhere between twice a year to every other year we offer a overnight yoga retreat either national or international. If you want us to create a overnight retreat for your group we typically offer 3-5 nights and the price range varies based on your needs and preferences.

Therapeutic Yoga or Private Sessions

Therapeutic yoga can mean a lot of different things to practitioners and clients. To learn more about what is offered, click here.

Therapeutic yoga is something we incorporate into sessions for psychotherapy clients, this is often not covered by insurance. See our FAQ for more info. If you are just interested in a traditional private yoga class we offer Fluid Yoga Vinyasa, HEALing Yoga Vinyasa, Meditation, Yoga Nidra and tailor it to you.

Yoga Asana Classes

What is “Asana” / Vinyasa – It is linking breath with movement with special attention on the breath and working with the mind.

Alyssa honors the innate capacity of the brain and body to heal and has witnessed how yoga asana can support this process. She is eager to welcome you to a warm supportive environment where you will have the space to unravel however your mind, body and spirit need.

Class Descriptions

Class descriptions that Alyssa typically teaches:

Fluid All levels: In this Fluid yoga class we will dynamically link the flowing nature of breath with continual movement and creative sequencing.

This heat building vinyasa flow increases strength and flexibility while training the mind to become more concentrated and relaxed throughout challenges on and off the mat.

HEALing Yoga: is a slow flow vinyasa; a mindful class with an emphasis on alignment and self-awareness. Using principles of Fluid Yoga, students will be guided with language to allow themselves to explore what needs deeper nurturing. HEALing yoga allows one to be aware and hear what their body is signaling, be able to interpret the signals mindfully, be willing to change and approach oneself with loving-kindness. HEALing yoga is an accessible practice for beginners or students working with an injury.

Trauma-Informed Hands-On Assisting, Level 1 & 2 for Yoga Teachers or Studios

We will explore several different approaches to the topic of hands-on assists; however, the main philosophy this workshop will use is how to offer hands-on assists in a clear, confident, calm and safe way. Hands-on assists have the potential to be healing and transformative, and you will walk away from this workshop with tools to determine with confidence your own approach and why you are choosing to assist or not assist within any given environment, student and moment in time.
